What's the difference between printed and foil stamped presentation folders?

An overview on what a printed pocket folder is and how it differs from a foil stamped custom folder. Learn which folder is best for your business, event, or organization.

What is a printed presentation folder?

Your logo, branding, or artwork is printed on a pocket folder in 1, 2, 3, or 4 (full) colors. Depending on the folder size, we use either ink offset printing (for 9" x 12" and legal folders) or digital printing for mini folders.

With 9" x 12" and legal custom presentation folders, pick the folder style that offers the amount of colors that are in your logo or branding.

For example, if you want just your logo printed on the folder and your logo is orange, choose the 1-color. If your logo is orange and black, choose the 2-color. If your logo is colorful (like a photo), choose the 4-color.

About Digitally Printed Mini Folders

Our mini folders are all digitally printed, which means they are printed in full color. In other words, you don't have to figure out if you need a 1-color, 2-color, etc. Just choose your mini folder size, upload your art, and you're good to go! All mini custom printed folders with pockets are printed on our standard white paper for vibrant graphics.

What is a foil stamped presentation folder?

To make a foil stamped business folder, we stamp a metal plate onto unrolled foil film, onto the pocket folder. We can do this on any sized pocket folder, and with any paper stock.
